Cost is sometimes difficult to estimate correctly because when it comes to web design projects, there are other factors that impact cost beyond these traditional constraints. You also need to consider the following:

Smaller sites are usually less than 15 pages and the cost ranges between $8,000 and $15,000. These sites are most often created in Wordpress and you will see content topics like:

Larger websites are also created in Wordpress, have over 20 pages and can cost $20,000 and up. These sites have complex requirements such as:

E-commerce sites require more time and effort to implement correctly. This is because they generally need most of the content of a business website and there are additional design elements, including:

- Shipping rules
The cost is highly dependent on how many individual products need to be loaded into the system, the number of product options (e.g. color of a shirt) and pricing discounts (e.g. volume-based or customer group-based).
Smaller e-commerce sites with simple business rules and less than a few hundred products typically cost between $15,000 and $30,000.
If you have complex business rules, need advanced sorting and filtering, and want third-party integrations with shipping, accounting and fulfillment, then the cost can range from $40,000 to $100,000.
